When your seat pad has reached the desired size or when your run out of yarn*, bind off loosely.
*If you run out of yarn, rip the previous row and start your bindoff right away.
Size Tips!
-
Want to felt your seat pad? Expect it to shrink up to 60%, depending on the yarn you use.
-
Example: With Novita Hygge (pictured), I used two 100g skeins before felting it in the washing machine and the finished pad turned out to be 35x35cm.
If you don’t want to felt your seat pad but still want it warm and durable, sew a piece of felt fabric to the back.
