Because our Yarn winder is classified as a machine, it also needs maintaining.

 

By removing oil residue and applying new fresh oil and will make it spin like ever before. Take care of your tools to avoid getting a bent yarn cake or a malfunctioning machine. 

Follow these steps:

1. Lift up the bottom part of the winder and remove the small cone in the center by unscrewing it. Then with a cotton swap or cloth, remove all oil residue.

2. When you have removed oil residue from bottom parts and cone metal insert and holder, apply a few drops of machine oil to each metal part.

3. Put back the bottom part in place, assble the middle cone and last, mount the yarn cone.

4. Spin a few times to even out the oil.

Remember to always unhook the rubber cord when not in use to prolong it's lifetime.
