4th of advent
The time has come for the final gift bag.
I hope you’ve enjoyed your gift bags as much as I’ve enjoyed creating them.
In the third gift bag, you’ll find care for your knitted scarf, knitting notions for your Christmas projects, and a fresh-off-the-press Knitting Notes.
A few years back, when the KNITS journey began, we launched a notebook called Knitting Notes. It was filled with fun tasks and worked more like a journaling-style organizer for knitters.
For this year’s Advent Calendar, I decided to create Knitting Notes 2.0. We removed the unnecessary parts, increased the number of pages, made it sturdier, and a lot prettier, featuring artwork by Fialotta Jansson Design, whom you already got to know in gift bag no. 3.
Grab your pen and start sketching out your upcoming knits for 2026.
Together with Paulina, the owner of I’m Nordic ECO Cosmetics, who also was a part of last year’s Calendar when we created our hand care set, we have now made an amazing wool soap for you.
All the important stuff made it into this product:
- Lanolin
- An amazing, long-lasting scent
- Made in Finland
- Long-lasting to use

This soap only gets better with time and might feel a bit dry during the first months due to the soap taking time to cultivate into the correct form and scent.
How to use our wool soap:
Put lukewarm water into your sink or an container of any type. Take the soap in your hand, move it under the water and get out that lather into the water. Drop you wool or silk knit into the water and squeeze your knit with both your hands. If you have stains, skratch with your nail or the soapbar on the stain to get it out.
Our soap is ok to leave in your garment but we recommend rinsing.
The soap is not a skincare product and can feel dry on your skin.
